New York Reception

Since our families are so far apart we had a wedding reception in New York a few weeks after the big day.  Best excuse to go to New York!  I just love it out there and we both miss it so much.  It was a very fun night with great food and great company!  Gerti did a wonderful job at making and decorating a cute cake for each table.  It was really fun that when we cut our cake, everyone else could cut their own cake as well.  The break and vacation turned out to be a lot of fun and very relaxing.  It is so amazing to look back and realize that the dream boy I met in New York actually became my husband.  Here we are 3 years later, in the place we met, celebrating our marriage.  Wow.

 Dave is home and feeling good!

 The amazing Steve made our wedding cake.  He was my inspiration that got me into baking!  The best part of our cake cutting this time is Dave started teasing me with the cake to put it in my mouth and the band played a song while we cut it.  So much fun!

 Opening our gifts and cards with the family.  Everyone was so generous and it was fun to do it with everyone.  A great end to a great day!
