Ringing in the New Year the right way--being grateful! My heart is full of gratitude today for the beautiful life that Dave and I share together. Today it struck me that we met almost 4 years ago and we have been such a huge part of each others life ever since. New York was dreamy. The time while he was on his mission was hard. Letters were uplifting and looked forward to. His coming home was exciting, overwhelming and confusing all at the same time. Our love was easy and comfortable. He was amazing and a million other things. The wedding day was beautiful. Being sealed for eternity was incredible. Moving in together was fun. Decorating our home has brought me true fulfillment. Being married is calming and wonderful. There are so many things that I have to be grateful for; we share a life that many wish they could have. I love being with the only person who knows me inside and out and adores me more than anyone else. Who could ask for anything better? Somehow he sees past my imperfections and still loves me unconditionally. Life is too wonderful to overlook the little things that make it great. Hopefully 2012 brings even more happiness than last year. The only way to make that happen is to create it! My theme for this year is to just be. Just enjoy the journey and the little things that make life beautiful. Find happiness and peace in just living and loving it, one day at a time.
